Olof is actually just a Scandinavian name. And in this case here, it is the name of a webspace run by Thomas Hirter, showcasing his typeface designs. Thomas Hirter is a Graphic Designer based in Bern, Switzerland, specialising on typography and type design.

His typefaces follow certain visual concepts and often unconventional ideas. Maybe this is one reason why the development of a type family usually takes him years – if not decades.
